Many customers order t-shirts for special purposes, such as office parties, bucks nights, hens parties, seminars etc. for a group of friends or employees. Some of the designs and ideas for these shirts are very innovative, and provide a way to keep a group together at a club or venue. One of our customers sent us some small samples of artwork, with instructions for the finished designs. One of these designs was a picture of a robot with one arm slightly raised. The customer wished us to find a high quality picture of a jacket, and with the aid of Photoshop, place the jacket in the hand of the robot, with a message underneath.  Another of the designs was to be a clock, with all the numbers to be “9″, instead of a normal cloock face.  Here are the artwork and t-shirt samples which resulted in some innovative designs for the group’s special night out:

And so, your designs are only limited by your imagination!  These designs all had to be re-designed by our art department, to produce clean, crisp artwork for our customer’s t-shirts. We receive many requests for t-shirts to be printed with superhero designs. The designs are often downloaded from the web, from an official site, which can cause problems regarding copyright. The pictures are also mostly very low in resolution, and too small to print on a t-shirt. So if you want to use a copyrighted picture, make sure you seek permission first, to avoid legal issues.

However, many individuals and companies avoid this problem, by drawing their own unique designs, or by changing the design  so that they don’t infringe copyright laws. We recently printed some shirts for a company which did just this…the design vaguely resembles a superhero opening his shirtfront, to reveal his superhero costume underneath. The message on the chest area is very effective in promoting the company’s product.

And so, our customer chose this design as a way for all his staff to promote his company’s product, by wearing a shirt with a more eye-catching design than just a company logo.
